Our Mission

As a 510(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to build a strong community, protect our shared value, and improve the safety and livability of the Skyhawk and its surrounding neighborhoods.

Our Community

Skyhawk is a suburban neighborhood of 500+ single-family homes and 1300+ residents in northeast Santa Rosa. Skyhawk is known for its close-knit community and fantastic schools. One of the area’s most desirable schools, Austin Creek Elementary School, is in the center of the neighborhood. Skyhawk also boasts its own community park and a shopping center. Nearby is Trione-Annadel State Park, a popular destination for hiking and fishing. We represent over 500 families and 1300 residents in the Skyhawk and its surrounding neighborhoods. 

Our Story

Skyhawk United was started in October, 2022 when many residents in Skyhawk and its vicinity neighborhoods worked together to protect their common interests. We ran weekly meetings to discuss strategy, coordinate efforts, and had a fundraising. We organized a canvas team to distribute flyers and rally residents to send advocacy emails to the City. Over 500 wet signatures were collected. Over 60 residents spoke up in the Public Hearing on December 8, 2022. 

Skyhawk United became a nonprofit in December 2022. We received IRS 501(c)(3) exemption in November 2023.
